Purpose of Role

The Manager of Finance (MF) assists the Director of Finance with financial and cash flow modeling, forecasting, and interpretation of financial data. The MF is a dynamic finance professional with proven ability to interact with all levels of management, and strong leadership capabilities. The MF has significant exposure to senior management and the opportunity to lead members of the Finance and Accounting in special projects.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Director of Finance with managing the financial and cash flow modeling, and forecasting.
  • Assists with monthly bank borrowing base calculations.
  • Assists with management of treasury operations with responsibility for daily cash operations, bank account management and maintaining the company’s banking infrastructure.
  • Works closely with members of the Finance department to forecast financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of material variance relative to fiscal budget and prior year results.
  • Manages development and maintenance of financial models to identify trends of driver; summarizes conclusions and implications of analysis.
  • Manages foreign exchange contracts and hedging programs (Mexican Pesos, Canadian Dollars, Malaysian ringgit, Chinese Renminbi, Singaporean Dollar, etc.).
  • Drives project research, data mining and model validation efforts to support company’s strategic initiatives.
  • Manages Capital Expenditure projects for US and offshore subsidiaries.
  • Assists in the development and preparation of clear and concise presentation materials for Senior Management.
  • Collaborates with other departments to identify and implement process improvement initiatives, including implementation of post-merger integration revenue and cost synergies.

Candidate Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting or related field required, CPA/CFA certification and graduate degree preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in corporate Finance and/or Financial Planning & Analysis with Strong knowledge of financial systems (ERP is a plus). Experience in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and forecasting. Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.); Accounting software; Inventory software; Order processing systems and Manufacturing software (QAD preferred).
