Quality Manager

Job Summary:

Multinational company is seeking a Quality Manager for their operations in Hermosillo, Sonora. The ideal candidate will ensure the correct application of the quality policy, as well as the integration of the processes through ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 standards, assuring the quality of the products, maintaining a documentary system, directed to the continuous improvement and the effective communication with the client.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee quality of products and comply with the pre-established requirements of the customer.
  • Management and fulfillment of the quality system.
  • Attend audits scheduled by the client.
  • Attend ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 audits both internal and external.
  • Budget development and control.
  • Follow-up to the objectives of the post (KPIs).
  • Contribute to the reduction of accidents/incidents within the plant.
  • Support in the implementation and development of ZPS in the plant.
  • Ensure the control of environmental aspects and compliance with the objectives and goals of the environmental management system.


Candidate Skills and Requirements:


Industrial engineering or similar (preferably specializations in quality assurance).


At least 5 years’ of experience in a similar management position, with strong hands-on experience handling:

  1. Quality Systems ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  2. Quality Assurance.
  3. Projects Improvement.
  4. New Product Introduction and Processes Improvement.


  1. Fully Bilingual in English and Spanish
  2. SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  3. Change and/or introduction of new products.
  4. Troubleshooting Tools (5Why's, 8d's, etc.).
  5. SAP knowledge is a plus.
  6. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.


  1. Must have a proven participative Leadership.

  3. Results-oriented individual.
  4. Proactive.
  5. Effective communication (all levels).
  6. Analysis.
  7. Must have Negotiation skills to handle Customer Issues.
